SCUTUM SCUTUM is a high-strength shield meticulously engineered to safeguard narrow-profile locks within metallic fittings. It serves as a robust complement, providing protection against various attacks, including drilling, extraction, milling, and leverage, directed at the euro-profile cylinder.
Reinforced
Constructed entirely from solid carbonitrided steel, featuring a revolving steel rotor for key entry and through-bolts for securing the shield and counter-plate. These bolts extend through both the lock and door, ensuring a robust and secure structural anchor.
Compatibility
The SCUTUM shield exhibits a high degree of compatibility with the majority of single-point and multi-point locks available in the market.
Installation
This product is suitable for installation in Euro-profile cylinders with a protrusion less than 18 mm and for most locks on the narrow profile market with an entry diameter of 25 mm. Prior machining of the door’s exterior is required for installation of the anti-snap component.
